Personal information is accessible only by appropriate staff, and is used only for the purposes for which the information was originally provided, such as to reply to requests for information or to schedule appointments.

Personal information collected as a function of this website will not be released to third parties except to further the original purpose for which you provide the information or if such release is required by law.   

Compilation of Statistical Log Information
Statistical log information is used only for aggregate analyses. It is the only “passive” data method we use. It is a popular method used by most Web sites online today. It means that our web server records every time a computer accesses our server with the time, day, resource accessed, and resource referred by. No personally identifiable information can be extracted from this information. We regularly compile these statistics to measure the number of visitors to our website, the requests we receive for particular information on our website, and the Internet Protocol (IP) number that those requests come from. These statistics may be used by Dr. Kern to improve this website in an ongoing effort to provide better information and services to the public.

All data, except these statistical logs, require active participation on your part. If you visit our website and don't want to participate in consultation appointments or send us an email, we will not know anything personally identifiable about you.
